The Hub for Innovation in Artificial Intelligence (H2IA) was founded in 2019 by the Federal University of Pelotas to connect academia, professionals, and companies interested in the development and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the region. Our focus is to encourage AI adoption, promote collaboration across different sectors, and drive regional growth through technological innovation. With support from the UFPel Research, Graduate Studies, and Innovation Office, the State Secretariat for Innovation, Science and Technology of RS, and the Pelotas City Hall, the Hub acts as a facilitator for skill development, creation of research projects, and advancement of AI in business processes and products. We offer consultancy and training, connecting academic knowledge to the market.
